Katlin and Sal were dream clients…first of all, their wedding took place in Positano, Italy (what travel dreams are made of!) and they were laid back but also passionate about their love for one another and setting the tone for their wedding day through custom wedding stationery.
We landed on a design that incorporated a watercolor frame of flowers that line much of the architecture in Positano and I illustrated the infamous Almalfi coastline for their details card, one of my favorite illustrations to date for wedding invitations. We kept the script and lettering simple for the rest of the invitations suite and pulled everything together with hot pink envelopes (to match the floral illustrations), white envelope calligraphy addressing and vintage postage to pull in the colors from the wedding invitation suite.
I was also able to make their signage and escort cards, lettering calligraphy on acrylic, for their wedding day all the way in Italy!
